Pottery Throwing Class Group Waiver and Agreement

I hereby acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this waiver in consideration of participating in the pottery throwing class conducted by Redlands Pottery Project.

Payment and Purpose:
- I understand that the payment made for this class covers the instructional experience and use of materials, and not solely the finished product.
- The class fee is non-refundable, and there will be no rescheduling of the class.
Finished Product Quality:
- I acknowledge that despite following instructions, there are factors beyond the control of the instructor and the studio that may affect the quality of the final product.
- I understand that perfection cannot be guaranteed, and some pieces may not survive the kiln process despite best efforts.
Firing Process:
- The instructor will provide guidance on methods to enhance the chances of successful firing during the class.
- I acknowledge that even with the provided instructions, variations in the firing process may occur, affecting the outcome of the pottery.
Refund Policy

Purchases may be refunded within 24 hours of purchase.

Rescheduling

More than 48 Hours Notice: A rescheduling fee of $10 will be charged for requests made more than 48 hours before the class start time.

Less than 48 Hours Notice: A rescheduling fee of $40 will be charged for requests made less than 48 hours before the class start time.

No-Shows: No refunds or rescheduling for no-shows.

Reschedule Limit: Each class can only be rescheduled twice.
Pickup and Shipping:
- I understand that the piece I create during the class will be finished within approximately 4-6 weeks.
- I have the option to pick up my finished piece at the studio or pay an additional fee for shipping.
Class Duration:
- The class duration is estimated to be between one and a half to two hours.

I, the undersigned, as the responsible adult for the group listed above, acknowledge and agree to the above stated information on behalf of all student participants, and have carefully read and fully understand the terms and conditions of this waiver. I voluntarily agree to participate in the pottery throwing class, acknowledging the inherent risks and variations associated with the pottery-making process.

Release of Liability

I release this organization or person(s) from all liability and responsibility.

Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge the potential risk of my participation in this class.

Indemnification

I waive my right to sue this organization or person(s) for any injuries I may sustain.
